Such a simple yet mesmerising novel with a genuine and unpretentious narrative; definitely love the different style of writing and how the writer nuanced the tone and language of each character. There is deep and thought-provoking themes weaved in the novel such as the hypocrisy of adulthood and the courage to face life. It made me more emphathetic towards depression patients too
