一本可以作为睡前看剧的小书，编剧摘抄的这些金句确实很打动人，沿着这些金句也为我们简单梳理了哲学的脉络，虽然内容偏主观一些。哲学是最有意义的，因为他告诉你人生该怎么活，又不要求你做他的信徒；哲学也是最没意义的，因为想在一片荒蛮无序中总结出有序的意义注定是个妄想。我们的收获，只是这一路的思考。
此剧被翻译得很好。在讲述美食时总让人不停吞口水，经典美食的典故和历史背景为书画龙点睛。已经忘记编剧是英国姑娘。虽未有食物和地区图片参看，也不失有趣生动。
